#4, The Redeemers, by Ace Adkins
This
book took it's old sweet time getting moving. The fact that the
protagonist, Quinn Colson, was having an affair with a married woman
with a child, (and it was justified because they were in love!)
didn't help any. I almost abandoned it, but I am glad I didn't. The
last hundred pages or so really got going, and the story ended with a
bang. I'll try another of Atkins' books before I decide what I think of
him over all as a writer.
