#35, Miss Pym Disposes, by Josephine Tey

While this book finishes with a solved mystery, it is more than a mystery story.  It is an evocation of an English school for girls, of young girls on the edge of adulthood, of relationships.  The character-studies are insightful and spot-on.  A very enjoyable book, more literature than genre mystery.  Highly recommended.
