#7, Mister Owita's Guide to Gardening, by Carol Wall

This heartwarming story of a deepening friendship between Carol Wall and Giles Owita, the man she hired to help her get her yard in order, blossoms slowly.  I almost stopped reading it.  It was a nice story about how this man helped her with her yard, and with words of wisdom about life and love.  But it deepens in the second half and I polished it off in two evenings.  The deepening of their friendship as they struggle with illness is inspiring and filled with love.  If you are looking for a good read and a book that will bsoot your spirit, this is the book.
