#23, Time for God, by Fr. Jacques Phillipe

I read this book for my online class, "Foundations of Prayer and Union with God."  Like the other book of his that I've not quite finished, "Seeking and Maintaining Peace", this is a short book but with quite a bit of wisdom.  This one will bear re-reading often.  Oh, and the class was good, too!

#22, Sanibel Flats, by Randy Wayne White

Another Doc Ford novel, in which he tries to rescue the 8-year old son of an old friend from Shining Path guerrillas in a fictional South American country.  Pretty good, as these things go.  I actually read this before Captiva, so this should be #19, but, oh well...

#21, Dry Bones by Craig Johnson

Walt Longmire gets involved with a T. rex skeleton and investigating the death of the Indian who owned the land on which it was found.  Pretty good, and enough loos ends to lead into the next in the series, I'm sure.

#20, Captiva, by Randy Wayne White

Another Doc Ford novel, pretty good but not quite as enjoyable as the Longmire series.  There's something about Doc Ford that is just a little too good to be true.  If you want to read mysteries set in Florida, i still recommend Travis McGee.  None better

#19 The Razor's Edge, by W, Somerset Maugham

This is quite an engaging novel, centered on the character of Laurence Darrell, known as Larry throughout, and his quest for the answers to life's big question.  Real literature!  Wow!
